Snow for Christmas

We had at least 18" if not more of snow last night. Our roads here are not plowed and neither is our driveway so we're not going to the Christmas dinner at 2 pm. A friend also called to cancel her afternoon party no one can get in there.

The boys like two little kids watching Bob make a Santa talk!
Pink cotton velvet top and skirt I made last year, also have a brown skirt for this. I decided I needed 'white boots' to wear with this.

Wow Nan that sure beats our few centimeters here in Ontario (I am in Canada with my family for Christmas). Good idea to just stay in and have fun with the puppies. Happy holidays to you and yours. J

Merry Christmas Nan! Your photos are just so beautiful. Sometimes the most unexpected things (like getting snowed in) make for the most memorable and peaceful days.

we got snow here too.. but only about a couple inches.. luckily the roads were fine. Just enough snow for the people that wanted a white christmas to have it.
as much as I dislike the inconvenience of snow, it really is quite beautiful! and you are quite surrounded by it there! lol!
Hope you had a wonderful christmas!

Your photos show a real Winter Wonderland and that is cute how your dogs watch the Santa show.

Love the photos of the snow. Beautiful! No snow here in Southtown! Just wind! Love that pink top.

Hi I love your blog because it's always so refreshing. I'm in Perth Australia and we are struggling through our 4th day of 40+ temperatures and will be this way till next Tuesday. Your snow looks soo nice and cool and I wish I was in it now :0)
