Christmas Lights went up Wed.

The two guys we hired to put up the Christmas lights today. They did the house and Bob did the garage himself. The lights we'll leave up, they are LED rope lights in a cool white color. The old bannister rope lights look so yellow next to them.

The garage lights with the stained glass dormer windows.
Blurry as it was actually quite dark when I took this. We won't be turning them on until November. We also need to do our Aspen trees in the red/white candy cane treatment. It's in the 20's here so it's very cold on hands to work.

A front just hit us this morning. We have been having very hot dry weather for a week or two. I must tell you the sight of lights and peeks of snow are so refreshing. Considering my AC was on yesterday...Smiles..Renee

Love that view of your whole place, with the lights on - the mountains and the water - oh, my, how beautiful!

We had unseasonably warm weather yesterday--almost 80 and is expected to be that again today and then tomorrow down in the 40's--this roller coaster weather has been terrible, but I think this is the biggest change in one day we've had--usually it's only about 10-15 degrees, not something like this.
