Labor Day

A doll house find on Etsy. The little boy is what I had years ago so I replaced him. As you may have noticed I'm into replacing long lost items, with the net almost anything is possible.

Next week we'll be heading up to Fairbanks to visit our grandson for a couple days. Found a motel that takes dogs for a price, this is their first big car trip. I hope to get some beautiful pictures on the way up of the Fall colors, I hope they are not all gone.
Enjoy your Labor Day. We had another anniversary as I write this on the second of Sept it's 51 years now.

Happy Anniversary indeed! 51 years is fantastic and by your blogs you are still "newlyweds at heart". :)

That trip sounds fantastic, I too await for the pictures.

You know Nan...you really haven't changed a bit since your wedding photo...I love it. I did also want to mention that I have been doing a lot of replacing of items I had when I was a child or adding to what I already had to make some nice collections. It is so fun being able to find what you had as a child. I'm glad to know I am not the only one doing this. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Anniversary, Nan! Such an accomplishment in the world we live in today...We will be following your example!

Love the little dollhouse baby you found! I'm doing the same thing...trying to find things I've lost--or stupidly given away--over the years. The net is a miracle, isn't it?!

Wishing you a beautiful day, my friend!
