Etsy Patterns

This pattern I loved but did not buy as it was $48.00. I decided I could make this w/o the pattern just by altering some I had on hand. It really is a beautiful old pattern. I would make the skirt a bit shorter.
This is the only blouse I found I liked, the 3/4 sleeve version. Bought this and all the below.

I started making this little dress it's totally lined. I want to sell some of them in a booth at the Christmas faire we have here. The proceeds would go to our non profit as I'd be selling in their booth for the quilt raffle we do all year. I also wanted to get a couple of those Kuspuks made as well and see how those sell.

The prices of some vintage patterns are crazy! I have 4 big tubs at the house I need to go through. I have been "tinkering" over at Etsy and am contemplating opening a shop to sell them. I love the little girls outfit! Can't wait to see it made up..

Blessings

Oh my gosh Nan--one of those patterns is one that I had made for myself when I was either in high school or college one year. It was the one that shows the two suits--I made the single button blue suit one, don't remember what color I used, think it was a coral or something in that color group, just know it wasn't blue but it was that exact suit. I think the pattern back then was only about $1 or $2 though, not the $48 like the first one you mentioned.

Well, first I can't understand why the pattern is so expensive.
Second, weren't clothes so much more feminine back in the day? I love the peplum on the jacket!
And that baby dress--you better make more than 'some' of it, 'cause people are going to snatch those up fast! Soooo sweet!

I love vintage patterns--you really have to keep your eyes open to find them cheap at yard sales--my daughter & I snap them up!

How fun to be selling at the Christmas faire! Everyone will love the beautiful clothes you make, Nan!

Wishing you the loveliest day!

Hi Nan!

I am hoping that you get this comment. If you have time, will you let me know?

I am once again in a storm, so much going on but one thing I know for sure is that nothing ahead of me is bigger or stronger than the power of God behind me so I take peace in knowing this is a time of growth and learning once again. I'm a bit confined right now, caring and praying for my little Sadie Mae. I know you understand in the deepest part of you, the hurt of knowing our beloved pet is struggling.

Much love, I grew a bit discouraged when I could not get my comments to post anywhere. I need the computer doc or a fabulous teen to fix it like you suggested!
