Today is Flag Day and my birthday, again already which is a good thing.
Both Etsy gifts. Top one a bracelet made from silverware from 1932. I bought my daughter one for Christmas and she loves it and now she gave me this beautiful one. The bottom a Marie necklace off my wish list, love it from my son!!
Present to myself? A new car. I ordered one and it will be here mid July. The car of choice here is a Subaru Forester. More room for the dogs in the back and AWD which does so well on the ice and snow.
Our house paint is finally finished, that took awhile as it should be 50 degrees and it barely is here this summer. Took my painter a week to complete in-between clouds, rain and cold temps.

Some friends and I put flags in the table centerpieces and made a flag cake for our Wed. dinner last night at church. Several asked about "all the flags", so I guess Flag Day can get lost in between Memorial Day and Independence Day. Good to be reminded!

My new car is actually 2 years old already, hard to believe. You'll have to take a picture of yours when you get it--bet you can hardly wait for it. What color did you get? Those Subaru Foresters are really great cars and I can see why they would be the car of choice there. The 97 year old lady across the street has one of them in great condition--hasn't been able to drive for years now.

I have a Tahoe which I loved when I lived up North in the land of snow and ice. It has 4 wheel drive and I lived out in the country. It got me through many a snow drift!
