Sewing Projects Completed

The doll dress is finished and LuLu is now in better shape.
The top for my daughter finished and mailed off.
 My garden Sunday
No green yet but at least the snow is gone and the pond is melting. The ground is very gooshy. Kalen blends right in.
Do you know what these are? They are cut off the salvage edges of fabric that has the manufactures name and other information about the fabric. I have a bag of these does anyone want them? A dress HERE was made using these.

I cannot believe how fast you get things done. I have become a faster sewer but not near as quick as you. Too many stops and starts. Kids have to be taken and picked up or dinners have to of these days though I dream about non stop starts and finishes. Everything looks beautiful and squishy...smiles...Renee

You little LuLu doll is adorable! I have the pattern for a Blondie Doll that I hope to attempt soon. If it wasn't for her hair I don't think it would seem as intimidating.

Love the top!

Nan, you are a very fast sewer!! Love the top for your daughter, but little Lulu's red dress is right up my alley!!
I would love your bag of scrap edges! If no one else has asked. And I'd be happy to send you money for postage. I have been making tags for swaps and think I might use them for edging!

Enjoy your Monday!! chris

Oh my gosh, can you imagine how many of those it would take to make a dress?--or how long it would take to sew them together?

Lu Lu looks so sweet.
Love your daughter's top. Glad the snow is melting. Snow is about 2 hours from us.....and's crazy. And no I'm not in Spain but an adult vacation sounds lovely.

Woo Hoo! You go girl! Your dress for Little Lulu is right's all coming back to me now! LOL!
The blouse for your daughter is gorgeous. It will look so nice on her I'm sure.
I will take those salvage edges! I have a pattern that I've been saving for a bag/purse/tote that is made from them or I can find the pattern and send you a copy. I think it was in a McCall's quilting magazine. I've been saving them for awhile now but I'm sure I still don't have enough. I loved the bag when I saw it. Let me know if you want the pattern and I'll start searching or if you want to send them to me I would gladly pay the postage. Whichever you decide is fine with me. I have to go look at that dress now!
