Finished projects and new ones

Finished the yellow Kona cotton top and the hat out of brown velvet. I used 1" yellow vintage buttons.

Here is the pattern to remind you. I made it out of white dupioni silk first.

I do a lot of shopping on Etsy from up here in the North. This leopard purse I bought from an Etsy shop to go with my shoes. This fabric too is off Etsy and it's for collar and cuffs on the red coat dress I've been hung up on due to the fact I couldn't get the fur I liked. So this will be my next project I guess.

They look great Nan. At the rate you're going you'll have to build another addition to the house just to hold all the clothes you're making. I can't stand wearing hats myself, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate them on others--especially when they're hand made. When I was younger my mom used to make hats using a lot of different material, among them pheasant feathers.

Nan it looks fantastic. I have never sewn with just the Kona on a garment but I will be doing that soon. I love how this turned out. The buttons are divine. Smiles..Renee
