Blizzard here New old Patterns

I love this 1948 pattern I found on Etsy totally uncut and never used at all. I have ordered the fabric to make the view on the right with the bolero on Fabric.com. The print will be the dress and the solid the bolero.

Last night and until noon we had a blizzard going on here. Snow coated the house and windows when we got up this morning, gusts were up to 50 mph.

Drifts made it impossible to drive and the radio said most of the town was closed including all the schools and the library. Our snow plower came through but my meeting was cancelled today as no one can really get anywhere.
Our family over on Kodiak had the same thing yesterday and they had to stay in a motel all night rather than drive the road home.

Just a few minutes ago Jeff came up and said "Did you hear about the snow storms in Alaska?". I said, "No". He said several of the costal towns got hit bad with 18 to 25 feet of snow. Wow! Hope you are ok and can get around now. Meanwhile we haven't had any snow yet! It's been so warm here for winter. I started to take down the Christmas decorations. Got one tree (living room) down and put away and have gathered up all the decorations and boxed them. Still have one tree to do and the outside lights. Tomorrow we're going to Lowe's to see about replacing our freezer that died last summer. We made campground reservations to go to WDW Florida in February! I laughed about the boys picking your give away winners! Take Care!

sometimes being snowed in is so cozy. Weve been having a very mild winter with hardly any snow. which is very unusaul! something tells me we'll pay for it in the end though.
Love the dresses and looking forward to seeing yours done and on you!

Oh Nan I hope you all get to bust out the canned salmon and enjoy the pellet stove like the dogs are. I love the snow but those biting winds are bit much for me. We are supposed to have an arctic blast tomorrow eve. Stay warm...smiles...Renee

Hi Nan,

I have been thinking of you way up north and I knew I'd see pictures of the snow. We are getting chilly down here. We have not had a snowflake at all this whole year. Perhaps they are late this year, still in Alaska.

I went to the web The Primal Blueprint but up came some finance business stuff. Where did you say the link was on your blog. Sorry, I am in the midst of being a ding-a-ling.

Love sent and warm fuzzy wishes.

Hi Nan, it looks very cold up there! I love the new pattern, how wonderful that it's not used. The fabric is really nice too, can't wait to see the finished result!
