Two Craft Items from this Magazine

The above two felt ornaments I made from this magazine below. I saw a few more things in there I'd like to make with the color aqua if I get time. This is a Swedish horse and a little gnome with a bead nose and no face. He has a beard of roving wool. *My daughter and grandson arrive on Thurs very early in the am on the ferry coming over from Kodiak. I'm really excited to see them both again.

I wish everyone would get the wonder of homemade gifts. The love in each stitch, stroke or cut. Just treasures. These are darling. I am so excited you get to spend time with your daughter sewing and Bob and his grandson...Do they ice fish? Merry Christmas...Renee

I love the Swedish horse, called a Dala horse because the wooden horses like this one originated in Dalarna, a province in Sweden. And the little gnome is called a Tomte. He lives on the farms and protects the people who live there. Santa is also called a Jul Tomte in Swedish.

Oh, yes, the red felt! They are so cute. Wish I had that magazine, it looks like it has some neat ideas. Good job!
Merry Christmas!
