Busy Week

Both photos taken out my windows this last week.
I don't have much sewing for you this week as I've been so busy with my regular workouts and added to that many errands and gift preparations, mailing packages out, etc. to be done as my daughter and grandson will arrive here next week. What sewing I'm going to do next is a muslin for a silk dress I plan to make my daughter for Christmas. When she arrives I can fit this to her. No matter how busy I get I never forget my gym visits as this is the core to my sustained good health. I encourage you to pick something you can do, walking for instance is great and do this as you age as good health will not come as a gift you must do your part to support it the rest of your life.

My husband would like for you to come and preach this to his patients that become still with age. It is an up hill battle he climbs everyday. Have a wonderful weekend...Merry Christmas...Renee

Gorgeous photos Nan. We had a sprinkle of snow yesterday, it settled for the rest of the day, then melted.

Beautiful pictures. I am glad your daughter and husband can come see you at Christmas.
I am looking into another computer after the first of the year. I love the Ipad but not sure you can download pictures. I need to do some research.
I hope to do some pool therapy after the first of the year.

I so agree with you about EXERCISE! I am a "walker" and I do strength training, but have been slaking on that lately due to shopping and working overtime. Always make time for walking. I also LOVE those pictures!

Dear Nan

Do you know what happened to me? I got on Santa's naughty list this year. He gave me a jolly scolding for not visiting you. I argued back that you were lodged deep in my heart but he took away a cookie and made me promise never to be absent like that again!

I promise,
Love Jacqueline

*NOTE: Back to the vet with Tazmo..more meds, he had a wicked infection but yesterday, he is back to being a healthy boy!

LOVE YOU!!! Say hi to Lorraine and wishes for Christmas blessings to her and hubby also!

Stunning photos, of course, your view is to die for. I know what you mean about being busy Nan. I'm pooped today but I finished baking the chocolate chip cookies and mixing up the dough for the sugar cookies. Tomorrow I'll bake the sugar cookies and frost them on Monday. My favorite cookie is chocolate chip but it is loaded with calories so I really have to limit my intake this Christmas. We have limited freezer space (since our garage freezer died this summer) so we will be giving away a lot more cookies this year.

Speaking of aging...I just had a bone density test and the results were fairly good except for one part of my spine that was slightly below normal. I have to go see my doctor to see what she recommends going forward but I think it is going to be exercise more.
