The Old and the New

Nan in her blue wool skirt using a vintage pattern. The wool given to me by my friend Karen M.
The old is me with the 40's look and the new is my 4S iPhone I'm holding (and learning how to use.)
The shoes are red suede by Gabriella Rocha from Zappos.com
This last photo taken with my iPhone by Ingrid.
What is next?
I'm going to cut out the tiny black and white hounds tooth raw silk fabric Jackie O suit lined in a gorgeous color of magenta or fuchsia. It caught my eye at the Russian shop and I grabbed it up.

I love these photos, Nan! What a great combo of old & new--you're just fabulous! Jealous of your new phone, too!

Wishing you a wonderful day, my friend!

Haven't been around much to comment as Steve has been home from Africa but now is on the east coast so am trying to catch up a little. Sorry to read about Bob, but glad to see that things have been figured out and hopefully are getting better every day now. Good to see that Ingrid has been able to be there to help you out--I know how much that must mean to you.

Nan, You daughter is so lovely! She has your natural grace about her. This style skirt is so flattering! I do hope you are planning a cruise or a special trip to show off your new wardrobe. A sixties pattern next! I simply can't wait to see the results. What fun your fashions are for us!
PS Thank you so much for joining my tag swap. Small and simple, I think we will have fun displaying these this year.
