Homer goose thinks he is a Crane

Video: Homer goose thinks he's a crane

Homer residents who keep an eye on the area's sandhill cranes noted that a lone Canada goose spent the summer with a flock of cranes. And although he seemed to do whatever the flock did, he was often aggressively standoffish with the cranes. A biologist told the Homer Tribune the goose might have hatched from an egg laid in a crane nest.

VIDEO HERE BY MY FRIEND NINA. SHE FILMS THE CRANES UP ON HER PROPERTY.

Good Morning sweetie,

How interesting is that? You've always got the neatest animal images. I just love how immersed you are in nature.

Hugs,
Meri

He is an aggressive little bugger. The cranes are gorgeous. You would think by his size that he would realize his position butI guess not. Very resourceful to use an already made nest...smiles...Renee
