Traveler's Home

The family arrived yesterday.
My grandson Dallas is standing in front of some of the relief doors of sculpture Lorenzo Ghiberti 1378-1455 on the church in Florence. We're looking over Bob's photos here. Have friends arriving today who rode their Harley's all the way from Pioneer CA wanting to ride to the
'end of the road' in Homer Alaska. Finally a dream come true for them in retirement.

Glad they are home safe and sound. I bet they have lots to share about their trip. Enjoy.

Nan they have been gone for quite some time. Nice to see they made it all the way home to Alaska. Amazing architecture and full of stories I am sure. Smiles...Renee

Hi Nan! I have so enjoyed catching up on past posts. The Blues post was so lovely. I noticed while in northern MI how lush all the summer flowers are. I was told the area is on the 98* parallel as is Alaska making the long days and cool evenings ideal conditions for flowering plants. Oh! your plaid ensembles! I would love to see the plaid skirt on you as well. Amazing seamstress you are Nan! Such fun to see these vintage patterns come to life! Enjoy your weekend! Elizabeth
