Green Satin Skirt

This is my satin skirt I'm working on here. I decided to underline it with this cotton raspberry fabric using French Seams. An experiment really as I've never done this before on a skirt like this. I looked up 'how to' and I had to baste all the underlining in then I stitched the French seams. I'm about to add the waist band now. Actually I'm not sure how this is going to look underlined but with satin it will give it more body that much I do know.

What a gorgeous color combination, Nan--I really love that! Love that you are still learning & trying new things--even though you're such an expert!

Wishing you a wonderful day, my friend!

I haven't done a french seam for years and on satin gosh I love your gumption Nan. The contrast of these fabrics is perfect. I cannot wait to see it finished. Beautiful...definetly need the extra stability to have the satin lay right. Smiles...Renee

Hi Nan, I sent two emails with the pattern information. I just wanted to check to see if you got them. Thanks. For some reason my emails have come back to me in my spam. I don't know what's going on with that. Gina
