My Vintage Mending

I won this sweet apron from My Vintage Mending and what an apron this turned out to be. When I lifted it from the box it felt so heavy and is so well made. The ruffles are backed by more white fabric.
The bib is all embroidered and inside is Renee's label she embroidered. (enlarge photo)
The bow is two sided and notice all the cute things included in the box below.
Thanks Renee for all these sweet things I really appreciate your skills.

Hi Nan,

Wow, you're so lucky....what a pretty apron! Check out the pretty top you made, too, on your last post. You're just a whirling dervish of sewing lately. I would never have thought to line the blouse top, did it ask for it, or is it something you do because it's colder out there?

Big Hugs,
Meri

I am just so glad it made it there...finally. It looks so nice on you. Wish we had salmon on our midwest grill. We settled for chicken on ours yesterday. Can't wait to see how the top finishes. Enjoy...Renee...nice to see the boys (weims) approve of my work as well...

awesome apron! what a wonderful swap gift. and it looks adorable on you! love your wildlife pictures. we have blue herons that return here every spring and once had a "lost" one wandering around in our back yard. we have a lot of deer here and there is at least one bear that has wandered around the northern edge of our county and has had numerous sightings. I would love to see him, though not too near where I am.. I love to ride my bike down our road, which is mostly just woods and fields and I dont ever want to run into him!
I always love seeing pictures of where you live, always so pretty!
have a great day!
