New Things

Got some new glasses yesterday, not used to how I look in them yet, but like paint they are not a permanent thing.
A fat chick I made. She is roving wool over styrofoam and added yellow feathers for wings, not all that creative really.
Saw this on a blog and decided to try one. Here is the link to the tutorial. This will be an Easter bag to hold whatever. I lined the bag in yellow gingham. I was going by the image I printed out to the left of the bag. I will make a second one as they are kind of fun putting all those felt strips together.

Nan, I love your new glasses!!! I think they look great. I'm never happy with my glasses and they look so old fashion but I have a hard time liking anything else on me. I really do like yours. And that chick is SOOO cute!!! And so is the Easter bag, you busy beaver.

Have a great Saturday. Hugs..Tracy :)

Nan you are such a lovely lady, anything would look good on you. They are, however, pretty swanky and look great on you. You've been pretty crafty lately....I bet you just can't wait to get into your new craft room.

Love ya'

CUTE glasses! Good choice. It's always such a huge deal picking them out, isn't it? I just ask them to show me the newest style and go with it. Figure that's probably the safest way to make and old bat look stylish. Sweet peep! Rainy rainy day here. xoso Sandy O

You look really good in those glasses. Well, you look really good, period. Thank you for your long comment on my blog. I really appreciated it and it was fun to read about your journey and how you came to settle in Alaska.

I don't know why some days I can read your blog and other days I can't anyway.......I can see the Pandas. At first I thought you were a bit looney. And I love the new glasses......I really do.
