Felt Friends

This book came yesterday from amazon.com and it's so well written and illustrated. It's quite inexpensive too for what you get as all the patterns are included. The Japanese have cornered the market on cuteness as this is by a Japanese author. I really am anxious to make something but I must not lose my momentum on my current sewing project.

How cute, my grandkids would love those little critters! I'll need to check it out - although I'm afraid to look too hard at Amazon, I spend more than I meant to every time!

Nan, let me know how this goes. I have been itching to try one of these. Love Amazon. The instructions are in English right?

Hi Nan,

That looks like an adorable book. Being friends with Elizabeth is hard enough not trying to recreate all the goodies she makes. That book would just send me over the edge and I'd have to try something. I've already got 10 or so different mediums goin' on in my craft area. One more would probably break the camels back! But please, please post whatever you create from it, cause I know I'm safe just lookin'.

Big Hugs,
Meri

Very cute book and I know you will enjoy it once you get to it. I never knew a donkey either until I moved next door to a donkey rescue. I worked there for a while. The owners moved to Texas with most of the donkeys but there are still some here. I blogged about my friend's visit in early November when we visited there. If you want to check back. But I will write more for sure. I so love them.--Inger

When I was stationed in Japan about 25 years ago - I just loved how they did their "cuteness". You should have seen how they "wrapped" a bar of soap if you bought it or other items. I loved how they said, "Welcome to McDonald's." My heart sure reaches out to them now!!! I keep thinking where will they live???
