Snowshoeing

We went out from the house snowshoeing today as we had a break in the storms.

It was nice if the dogs could cut us a trail first but that didn't always happen. Tomorrow will be better as we'll have our trails to follow.

Looks like a lot of hard work, so I'm glad it was fun! :) The deck is beautiful!

What a beautiful snow! Your fairy cottage likes adorable in the white winterland. I love how your deck turned out too. The dogs and humans sure are having fun in the snow. I've never tired snowshoeing just cross country skiing but I've heard it is fun. Thanks so much for sharing. It is cold, misty and rainy here today.

I love it! It looks like so much fun to play in the snow. I know your dogs must really enjoy themselves. And you guys look like you are as well.--Inger

Tazzy would have the time of his life romping in all that whipped cream with your pups. We would have to dye the other two pink like my mom did one year so they didn't get lost in the snow drifts. No kiddin, it was in Saskatchewan where the land is so flat. Mom painted both of our poodles pink. Makes me laugh now.

Had fun tonight reading back and back to all I've missed since that little store in Lynden has been born. Somehow I missed you had another Jackie in your life and you are her teacher. Wonderful. Speaking of quilts I had a nice gal bring in two Amish hand quilted quilts on Saturday. They are a treasure for sure.

I've been cozy inside all day. May need a canoe considering all this rain coming down.

I found your blog while reading someone else's. So glad I did. I love the idea of living in Alaska..but would never convince my husband to move to "snow" again. So I'll follow along and enjoy it thru your stories.

Beautiful snow! Snowshoeing looks so much fun! I remember when I was in elementary reading the American Girl books, I was intrigued by Kirsten's snowshoes!

Well gosh, aren't you supposed to make the trail for the dogs?--you're bigger and taller than they are. One of the many things I've never done was snow shoe--have always wanted to try it though and this winter here would have been a good time if it weren't for my surgery.
