Hi Nan! I just loved your book club tour! What a beautiful home! You didn't tell us what book you are reading. I would love to know. I am reading The Recipe Club about life long pen pals who reconnect after some terrible event. Each chapter features a recipe sent to each other. Very intriguing. When I look at this racing post, all I can think of is our big white puppy could be a sled dog! She's that big! Have a great week Nan! Elizabeth

I have been to Anchorage in Feb. with ice up to the windows of the Sheraton and the race going on. It was a trip I'll never forget.
I love your Alaskan wilderness adventures. What an awesome place!
Off to the store, my sweet labor of love.

Amazing Nan! I bet it's quite the race! My aunt use to live in Anchorage, she was stationed up there. Thank you for sharing happenings in your beautiful state!

Great pics!! Were you able to actually go and watch them take off? We missed the Yukon Quest ending because we're snowed in here, but I really want to experience some fun things. The Iron Dog seems like an amazing and grueling race to experience.

Here in Florida we just go round and round in circles in Daytona. Ha-ha. Now the Iron Dog sounds like a real race. How long does it usually take them to finish?

OO's...Tracy :)
